How much will the medications cost?
Our programs typically range from $250 - $400/month, depending on your medication. Many clients say the program pays for itself - thanks to reduced spending on groceries, dining out, and delivery.
Will I have to take these medications forever?
Not necessarily. Some people with certain medical needs stay on them long-term, but most clients use them as a jumpstart and transition to a low maintenance dose because they feel so good.
How will I get my medicine?
Your medication ships directly to your door, complete with everything you need for injections. It’s simple and seamless.
Can you see clients outside of Kansas and Missouri?
We currently offer in-person or virtual visits only to clients physically located in Kansas or Missouri, but we can ship medication anywhere in the U.S. if you're traveling or moving.
How much weight will I lose?
Everyone’s different! Most clients lose steadily over time. Some see quick results; others need dose adjustments. Our job is to make sure your plan works for you - safely and sustainably.
How long does it take to receive medication?
If you're in Missouri or Kansas, meds usually ship within a week - sometimes sooner. Other states may take up to 10 business days due to high demand.
What are the side effects of weight management medications?
While our recommended weight management medication tends to have fewer side effects than other injectable weight management medication options, some people may feel full or slightly nauseous at first, especially when adjusting the dose. Staying hydrated (at least 64 oz/day) helps reduce the likelihood of side effects.
Will I lose my hair or muscle mass?
Significant weight loss can lead to some hair thinning or muscle loss, but we address this with targeted nutrition, protein goals, and supplement support to keep you strong and feeling your best.
Does Parkville Concierge Medicine accept insurance?
As a concierge care practice, we do not accept or bill insurance for our services.
We believe great care starts with having the time and flexibility to truly get to know you. Insurance coverage for hormone replacement therapy, weight management, and personalized wellness care can vary significantly between plans, and insurance requirements can limit the services, treatment options, or time we are able to provide. Our concierge model gives us the flexibility to spend more time with you, communicate more consistently, provide more personalized attention, and make care decisions based on your individual needs rather than insurance requirements or limitations.
Initial consultations are a one-time $150 fee, and there are no additional consultation fees for future appointments. If you enroll in a Weight Management program, the $150 consultation fee will be applied toward your first month of the program.
We intentionally reserve plenty of time for each consultation so you can ask questions, discuss your concerns and goals, and explore your options without feeling rushed. Because appointment availability is limited, the consultation fee may be charged for missed appointments or late cancellations. We appreciate as much advance notice as possible if you need to cancel or reschedule so we can make that appointment available to another client.
Our concierge membership model is designed to make ongoing care simple and predictable. All monthly memberships include ongoing communication with your provider during business hours and all follow-up visits. Weight Management memberships also include your weight management medication, and HRT memberships also include prescribed hormone medications and all follow-up laboratory testing.
This approach allows us to offer clear, predictable pricing without unexpected bills after routine visits or labs, while keeping the focus on personalized care rather than insurance limitations.
